Don't know where to get started?

I know the feeling. But it's really not that hard. I remember when I first got started, my number one fear was "What will I write about?" And will people actually like it?

But it's really easier for me now than writing a love letter used to be. (I don't write those anymore) Now you are probably writing something on Facebook or some form of Social Media anyway almost daily. Most people are.

You can make Money Blogging!

Did you know you can make money Blogging? Yep. Probably the #1 way is through Affiliate Marketing. I know people that do very well with that. Especially Stay-at-Home Moms.

Now there are a few different ways to do it, but the one thing you will need to get started is a domain name (web address) and a Blogging Platform. I personally use WordPress. But there are others out there.

One thing you will definitely want to consider is using a Drag-n-drop editor instead of the original WordPress editor. If you've ever used WordPress you know what I'm talking about. I personally use the Thrive editor.

Once you get started writing it becomes easier and easier. In the beginning you can “steal” ideas from other Bloggers and just personalized the content to fit you. You can do that to get started, but the time came where you will be able to create your own Content from scratch and do it fast. (I’ll probably do this one in approx. 30-45 minutes)

A Couple More Tips

Have a great title! If your title does not grab your readers Attention you won’t get the readership you want.

Just think about it. You are reading this because you are interested in starting a Blog. Or maybe if you are like me, you are just looking to see what other people are writing about. (Haha)

Second you must find someone that offers an Affiliate opportunity. There are many out there in all kinds of topics. You could just Google or YouTube to find out more. Amazon has one of the oldest Affiliate programs.

Or Send me a Message on Facebook and I'll give you some more ideas.

Provide Value First if you Want to Get Paid

Whatever you do for Affiliate Marketing make sure your Blog is first providing “free value“. That way you don’t have to “Sell”  in your Blog. Besides who likes “Selling?”

By providing free value first your reader will be happy to purchase from you. You just created a trust factor that wasn’t there before.

My best advice is…..just get started! It’s really not that hard once you get going.
